Training training covers all aspects regarding Electrical Wiring Interconnection System and program is in accordance with defined syllabus established in AMC 20-22 for EASA Part CAMO and EASA Part 145 Maintenance personnel.

ABOUT THE COURSE:

The term “EWIS” refers to the principles which apply to aeronautical design, certification, training, operations and maintenance whilst seeking to ensure safe activities in engineering, maintenance, documentation and to expose possible problems of wiring interconnection systems on new and old aircraft types.

In order to reduce the impact of EWIS, it is highly important to ensure that all the processes involved in the maintenance of aeronautical products are analyzed and any procedural requirements are adhered to at all times.

Many investigations of accidents/incidents in aviation have revealed EWIS to be an important element in the chain of unfortunate events.

OBJECTIVES:

• The objective of the training is to enhance the awareness of the importance of the Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) safety and to ensure that proper procedures, methods, techniques and practices are used when performing maintenance, modification, inspection and cleaning of EWIS.
• Course is in accordance with applicable EASA AMCs 20-21 / 20-22 and CS-25A5(H)
• After training, the person is able to properly evaluate the EWIS and effectively use the manufacturers Chapter 20 Standard Wiring Practice Manual for that aircraft.
